Mandarine Fish in Malapascua Island, Philippines

Mandarine fish go out at the end of the day to breed. You need to be very patient to get some good shots of them and wait for them to pop out of them holes. They are very shay and they are afraid of white lights. We use red lights in order to see their movements at night.

To take the following shots I remained over one hour at the same spot, looking at the same point and waiting for the mandarine fish to show themselves.

Many thanks to Evolution Resort's amazing and so devoted dive guide who brought us to that place.
