Albert Falco has left us on April 21st 2012, at the age of 82, Falco was born in Marseille on October 17th, 1927. Falco was the Captain of the famous Jacques Cousteau’s “La Calypso” ship. He was a pioneer in the underwater world and experimented the underwater houses – Precontinent I in the Mediterranean Sea then Precontinent II in the Red Sea (Soudan). Falco loved the sea above everything, he worked with conservation groups  made environmental films until shortly before his death. He had always a camera in hand while diving and he used to be most of the time underwater. Hereunder a few pictures of Falco during the 2008 edition of Underwater Images Festival in Antibes, France.
